Steps to Apply for the Delhi NMMS:

Delhi NMMS Eligibility Criteria

    • The student must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST students) in the Class VII (7th grade) annual examination.
  3. Parental Income:
    • The annual income of the student’s parents from all sources should not exceed INR 3,50,000.
  4. Examination:
    • Students are required to appear for the NMMS examination conducted by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, which typically consists of a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The selection is based on the performance in these tests.
  5. Additional Requirements:
    • The candidate must be a regular student in a recognized school and should continue to study as a regular student in recognized schools in classes IX and X after receiving the scholarship.
